The gates will be open to the public at 10.00 am and all VW Club Members vehicles will be admitted into to site for the displays and parking.
It is to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Volkswagen in Australia.
The Entry to the public is FREE and they will be able to view the displays of Australian and historic VW vehicles.
There will be line-up of the 60 years of production of VW vehicles including special vehicles from each year including many Kombis Beetles and Karmann Ghias.
A cavalcade of special vehicles including cars manufactured from 1954 to 2014 will arrive at the Seaworks form a secret location and these will include some of the rarest VW’s in Australia.
Displays of rare and interesting VW manufactured equipment and Brochures including tools from various eras of the production.
The displays will include the last VW Beetle manufactured in Australia that rolled off the production line in 1976 and is still brand new never being registered.
There will be food vendors and coffee vans on site with the VW Club of Victoria’s display.
Vw club merchandise will be available, including T shirts containing the logo of the “brand new” 1967 Beetle restored by the Club for Cystic Fibrosis a charity raffle that’s raised $25000.
