The Black Ship in Williamstown
Notorious is a full size sailing recreation of a caravel from the Age of Discovery.
Notorious was researched, designed and created single handedly by Graeme Wylie, at his home near Warrnambool in S/W Victoria.
Her keel was laid in 2001, and the ship launched at Port Fairy in February 2011.
This decade long undertaking used over 300 tons of reclaimed timber ( Monterey cypress).
